Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SimulSpeak’s website, apps, and translation services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SimulSpeak provides real-time voice translation across supported languages, including translated calls, room links, an API, and (on eligible plans) a preconfigured device. Features and supported languages may change over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Plans, billing, and renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
- Plan allowances (such as included call minutes) and API rates are described on our pricing page.
- API usage beyond included allowances draws down prepaid credit or is billed as described at checkout.
- You can cancel anytime from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, defraud, or harm others.
- Record or translate others without any consent required by applicable law.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service or its API, or exceed rate limits.
- Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
5. Calls and consent
You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your calls, including any notice or consent requirements for processing the speech of other participants.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, and content, belongs to SimulSpeak. You retain rights to your own content; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you.
7. Voice cloning
Certain features synthesise speech in a voice that resembles yours. You confirm you have the right to use any voice you enrol and will not impersonate others without authorisation.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Real-time translation depends on factors such as network quality and may not be perfectly accurate.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Translations are provided for convenience and may contain errors; do not rely on them for critical or high-stakes decisions without verification.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimulSpeak is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
