1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Some are essential for the Service to work; others are optional and used only with your consent.

2. Essential cookies

These are always active because the Service cannot function without them. They include:

• Authentication, keeps you signed in to your account.
• Language (NEXT_LOCALE), remembers your chosen interface language.
• Consent (ss_cookie_consent), remembers your cookie choices.
• Security, helps protect against fraud and abuse.

3. Analytics cookies (optional)

These are only loaded if you select “Accept all”. If you reject optional cookies, they are not used. We use them to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it:

• Google Analytics (GA4), aggregate usage statistics. Loaded with Google Consent Mode, so no analytics storage is used until you consent.
• SimulSpeak first-party analytics (via our SoftSell platform), privacy-friendly measurement of pageviews, scroll depth, clicks and dwell time. No third-party advertising trackers.

4. Referral / attribution cookies

If you reach our site through a partner or affiliate link (a link that carries a referral code), we store two first-party cookies, ss_ref and ss_click, for up to 30 days. They exist only to credit the partner who referred you if you go on to subscribe. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with third parties for their own purposes.

5. Managing your choices

You can change your preference at any time using the “Manage cookies” option in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
